Wealdpark 订购 Star SR-32JIII Type B 走心式车床，用于 Merseyside 扩产

Wealdpark Ltd has placed an order for a Star SR-32JIII Type B sliding-head lathe, marking the first major investment decision by newly appointed directors Alex Smith and Jack Smith.

The order was confirmed at JIMTOF 2026 in Japan on the stand of Star Micronics Co., Ltd. Daisuke Tsuruta, Sales Department Manager at Star Micronics Co., Ltd., joined the occasion alongside Stephen Totty, Managing Director of Star Micronics GB, and Wealdpark’s new directors.

The investment will replace an older Star machine with the latest-generation SR-32JIII Type B model at Wealdpark’s facility in Merseyside. According to the company’s announcement, the replacement is intended to enhance production capabilities and support demand from its growing customer base.

Alex and Jack Smith represent the third generation to take the reins at the family business, which has a history spanning more than 60 years. Star Micronics GB said the order reflects Wealdpark’s continued trust in and investment in Star equipment.

The post did not disclose the value of the investment, anticipated installation date, production figures, active printing hours or total operating hours.
