Just a few months after the launch of the EHRZ roll tap—specifically engineered for steels up to 40 HRC and stainless steels—Yamawa introduces the EHRZ CH version, featuring radial internal coolant holes (CH90 – Coolant Holes 90°).
The specific orientation of the coolant holes, perpendicular to the tool axis, delivers maximum coolant flow in both blind and through-hole applications, ensuring optimal cooling across the chamfer and the entire thread portion. Furthermore, precise fluid delivery provides efficient hole cleaning, helping to evacuate chips left behind by machining stages prior to thread forming (e.g., drilling operations). The T-design CH90 radial holes system with solid seal on the top, rules out any issues resulting from failure and loss of seal at the welded cap, typical of other products available on the market.
