Milltronics Unveils new Procobots Integration

During IMTS 2026, Milltronics announced that its CNC machines can now be directly integrated with automation from Procobots. Visitors to the company’s booth saw the new solution in action through a Milltronics VM3020IL performance vertical machining center paired with a Procobots UR15 ProFeeder automation system.
Designed to make automation accessible to job shops of all sizes, the Milltronics Procobots integration allows operators to set up and control the automation system directly through the Milltronics INSPIRE+ control and conversational programming platform. Through a streamlined, patented setup process, users manually maneuver the Procobots robot to teach it where to place workpieces and retrieve finished parts within the machine.
The ProFeeder Tray further simplifies operation. Operators place workpieces in designated positions on a grid and select which ones the system should use for a job. Once a job is configured, its setup is stored within the control and can be recalled for future use. These features provide flexibility, allowing operators to quickly set up and automate a sequence of different jobs.
The Procobots system also features leveling casters that allow users to move the automation equipment throughout the shop. This mobility enables manufacturers to shift automation capacity between machines based on current production requirements.
