KUKA Robotics and Siemens will partner as presenting sponsors of the Robonumérique Lévis event taking place from Dec. 1-2 at the Lévis Convention Centre in Lévis, Quebec, Canada. KUKA will display innovative solutions throughout the event, including mxAutomation - a KUKA-Siemens solution that turns PLC programmers and operators into robot experts, a live interactive demonstration of a KMP 250P autonomous mobile robot (AMR) and interactive displays of the new LBR iisy cobot, its digital twin and the iiQWorks simulation environment.
Simplified Robot Control and Integration
To demonstrate simplified robot control and integration, KUKA will showcase its plug-and-teach ready2_educate training cell equipped with a Siemens S7-1500 PLC, controlling a KR AGILUS robot via KUKA.PLC mxAutomation software. KUKA.PLC mxAutomation enables intuitive robot programming directly within the PLC environment to simplify integration, accelerate commissioning and provide greater flexibility. As a universal PLC open-certified PLC interface, it allows users to program and operate all key robot functions directly in their familiar control environment.
Intralogistics Optimization with KMP 250P AMR
An ideal solution for optimization of intralogistics systems, the KMP 250P AMR provides efficient transport of materials up to 250 kg and excels in navigation of tight production environments. Its compact design and differential drive enable maneuverability in confined spaces, while integrated safety scanners and 3D cameras support safe operation around people and equipment. The AMR also integrates with KUKA.AMR Fleet software for centralized fleet management and coordinated material transport.
Interactive Cobot and Simulation Display
As part of an interactive display, attendees can manipulate the LBR iisy cobot and its digital twin while exploring KUKA's iiQWorks simulation environment and the new iiQKA.OS2 operating system. Featuring a web-based interface, guided workflows and simplified programming options, iiQWorks and iiQKA.OS2 make robot setup and operation more accessible to users of varying experience levels. The display will highlight how the LBR iisy combines the flexibility of collaborative robotics with an intuitive operating environment and virtual commissioning for quick deployments.
