ENCY World 2026 in Seoul Showcases CNC Programming and Robotic Manufacturing with ENCY 3.0
ENCY World 2026: Korean Edition brought together manufacturers, technology specialists and industry partners in Seoul on October 29 to demonstrate the role of integrated software in CNC programming, robotic machining and automated manufacturing. Hosted at YC College, the event featured the Korean launch of ENCY 3.0 and live demonstrations connecting offline programming with physical robot operations.
South Korea, with 1,220 industrial robots per 10,000 manufacturing employees according to 2024 data, is among the world’s leading markets for industrial automation. The event highlighted how ENCY’s software portfolio connects CNC machining, robotic programming, simulation and machine control to address the requirements of modern manufacturing facilities.
YC Corporation, ENCY’s Korean partner, opened the conference with an overview of its CAD/CAM implementation, robotic systems, software development, training and technical support capabilities. The company also operates a manufacturing facility in Hwaseong, where milling robots, collaborative robots and CNC routers are used to test machining solutions and production processes before deployment at customer sites.
ENCY Software CEO Andrei Kharatsidi introduced ENCY 3.0, presenting developments in tool assembly management, toolpath calculation, machine visualisation and cloud-based manufacturing resources. The presentation also covered the beta version of the AI Super Agent, including applications for machining cost estimation and identifying potential issues in NC code.
Demonstrations showed how a PDF engineering drawing could be converted into a 3D model using conversational AI commands before being imported into ENCY for machining preparation and programming. Sessions also covered multiaxis machining, including mill-turn equipment, Swiss-type lathes, 3+2 machining and simultaneous five-axis milling.
Robotic manufacturing was a key focus. ENCY Hyper developer Ilnar Galiullin demonstrated how physical robots can be operated and integrated with vision systems, sensors and external devices. A live collaborative robot demonstration showed the complete workflow: configuring a cell in MachineMaker, generating and verifying toolpaths in Robot, and making on-site adjustments through ENCY Hyper before executing the machining cycle.
The conference also presented customer applications from South Korea. Automotive supplier Sun Tech adopted ENCY Rotary to improve four-axis programming and simulation for its existing equipment. Hogreen Air, a developer of hydrogen drone power packs and fuel cells, selected ENCY Korea’s software, training and technical support to build in-house machining capabilities using a new five-axis machine. Another case study highlighted an automotive Tier-1 supplier in Ansan that used ENCY Robot to combine punching and cutting into a robotic laser-cutting process.
ENCY concluded with recognition of Korean partners and discussions with manufacturers about their production requirements. Organised by YC Corporation, ENCY World 2026 demonstrated how integrated programming, simulation and robot-control solutions can support manufacturers in improving flexibility and expanding automation capabilities.
